I love the Caribbean Islands. I decided to take the Eastern Caribbean Cruise, as it goes around the not so well-known islands. But then I said to myself: There is no better way to see the many island countries of the Caribbean than to full cruise amongst them on a luxury Caribbean Cruise Ship. So, I changed my mind and didn’t think twice. I have recently returned from a 21-night cruise aboard Holland America’s Noordam, where I visited 13 different ports including the starting islands of the Eastern Caribbean Cruise: British Virgin Islands, St Kitts & Nevis, Saint Maarten, Saint Lucia, Martinique, plus the extra Bahamas, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Bonaire, Aruba, Curacao, Turks & Caicos and St Thomas.

I experienced friendly local people that love to show their beautiful islands to you. The whole Caribbean Cruise was accompanied by: vibrant colours, rich and fascinating history, along with the diverse cultures and lifestyles, varied architecture, not to mention magnificent scenery and beaches, and of course the tastes and sounds of both Eastern and Western Caribbean itself.

From swimming in the crystal clear beaches of The Bahamas, snorkelling and diving in world famous sites in Turks & Caicos, Bonaire and Martinique, travelling aboard the Scenic Railway in St Kitts, spending a few hours with a photography expert in Barbados, trekking into the countryside and visiting and learning how the locals live in the Dominican Republic, to enjoying a music filled interactive bus ride on the Kukoo Kunuku Bus in Aruba!  There is so much to do I might need to go back again and again!
