Waiheke Island

We joined the Sea Princess in Auckland, sailing the last leg of her 104 day world cruise to Sydney.  Prior to embarkation, we spent the day on Waiheke Island, which is 40 mins away by ferry.  Waiheke Island was recently rated as one of the top island escapes in the world with stunning coastal headlands, vineyards and seaside villages. We experienced a zip line adventure with lunch at a local vineyard.

Sea Princess

Days at sea on the Sea Princess were relaxing. There was a choice of many shipboard activities during the day and a top class show every evening.  You were spoilt with the dining options, all of which were of a very high standard. There was also one specialty restaurant, Sterling Steakhouse. The balcony cabins were clean, well serviced and the beds were extremely comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend Sea Princess, as we enjoyed every aspect of the cruise.
